Ethereum Developer Remote US (Blockchain-DeFi)

Job Description

**Job Title** Ethereum Developer (Remote, US) **Role Summary** Design, implement, test, and deploy Ethereum-based features for a high‑availability DeFi infrastructure. Work within an agile engineering team to deliver rapid, reliable updates to core services. **Expectations** - Execute short development cycles (sprints) to deliver functional, production‑grade code. - Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability in a live DeFi environment. - Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams (product, QA, operations). - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Ethereum protocols and best practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and maintain Solidity contracts and off‑chain services. - Operate and monitor Ethereum nodes (geth, parity, etc.) in production. - Handle Ethereum transaction lifecycle: construction, signing, broadcasting, and confirmation. - Write automated tests (unit, integration) and conduct code reviews. - Optimize Go‑based services for performance and resource usage. - Troubleshoot and resolve deployment or runtime issues. - Contribute to architecture discussions and propose solutions for system scalability. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of professional software development. - Strong experience with Ethereum development (smart contracts, tooling). - Proven ability to run and maintain Ethereum nodes. - Expertise in handling Ethereum transactions (gas estimation, events, reverts). - Proficient in Golang; experience with Go‑based blockchain projects is a major advantage. - Comfortable working in Linux environments (bash, scripting, system diagnostics). - Independent yet collaborative; excellent written and verbal communication. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Certifications in blockchain or Ethereum are a plus but not mandatory.
