Job Description
**Job title:** C#.NET Developer **Role Summary:** Build, extend, and maintain a large‑scale, AWS‑hosted SaaS solution composed of microservices. Design and deliver SOAP and REST APIs, apply unit and integration testing best practices, and improve code quality in an Agile Scrum environment. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality software within 2‑week sprints. - Collaborate across distributed teams using Jira, GitLab, and Atlassian tools. - Explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders and contribute to knowledge sharing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, code, test, and deploy C#/.NET features for a flight operations and air traffic management platform. - Maintain and refactor existing microservice codebases, ensuring clean architecture and proper dependency management. - Conduct code reviews, participate in daily stand‑ups, and contribute to sprint planning. - Create and maintain unit (NUnit) and integration tests; drive test automation and continuous integration pipelines (TeamCity, Octopus). - Collaborate with database teams to model data in MSSQL with Entity Framework. - Integrate with external SOAP/REST services and manage API versioning. - Work with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.) to deploy and scale services. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in C# and .NET Framework 4.8. - Experience building ASP.NET Web API services and consuming SOAP/REST APIs. - Strong understanding of MSSQL, Entity Framework, and relational data modeling. - Git/GitLab source‑control best practices. - Ability to write comprehensive unit tests (NUnit) and conduct integration testing. - Logical reasoning and problem‑solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Interest in aviation regulations and laws (useful for domain understanding). **Optional / Preferred Skills:** - JavaScript/AngularJS experience. - Familiarity with Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence), TeamCity, and other CI/CD tools. - AWS certification or hands‑on experience. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer (preferred).
