**Job Title**
Manager of Safety and Security
**Role Summary**
Lead and coordinate all safety and security operations for multiple entertainment venues, ensuring events are planned and executed with rigorous risk management. Provide strategic oversight, supervisory leadership, and incident response to maintain a secure environment for patrons, staff, and assets.
**Expectations**

- Maintain high standards of safety, risk assessment, and incident management.
- Champion the Safety & Security department in internal and external forums.
- Continually develop staff capabilities and operational processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and execute event security, traffic, and parking operation plans across venues.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and develop tailored security protocols.
- Serve as on‑site Security Duty Representative, managing daily security operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot security equipment, supplies, and technology systems.
- Represent the department at meetings, trade shows, and industry conferences.
- Contribute operational data to senior leadership for budgeting and capital planning.
- Supervise Security Group Leaders, conduct performance reviews, and coach staff.
- Act as Event Manager on Duty when required.
- Respond promptly to patron inquiries and resolve issues to a win‑win outcome.
- Lead enterprise‑wide incident response and investigative processes.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall safety and security objectives.
**Required Skills**
- Leadership and supervisory experience with at least 3 years in law enforcement, safety, or security.
- Expertise in event security planning, risk assessment, and incident response.
- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to convey detailed information.
- Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and security technology applications.
- Detail‑oriented, accurate, and capable of sustained focus.
- Ability to drive safely (valid driver’s license).
- Physical capability to meet job demands (standing, walking, carrying up to 50 lbs, operating vehicle equipment).
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Associate’s degree in Security & Loss Prevention (or 2 years relevant work experience in lieu).
- Minimum 3 years related experience in law enforcement, safety, or security; 3+ years supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Post‑employment certifications: Certified Protection Officer (CPO), ICSE 300 Course, First Aid/CPR/AED, PA Special Fire Police, OCAT/PATH, and RAMP.
- Criminal history clearance per Pennsylvania Child Protective Services and State Police requirements.
