Job title: Operations Finance Intern (Remote) Role Summary An entry‑level internship focused on supporting the Operations Finance function within a global retail organization. The role offers practical exposure to financial analysis, accounting processes, month‑end close, forecasting, account reconciliation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Interns work virtually for 40 hours per week, gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic finance environment. Expectations - Internship term: May 18 2026 – August 7 2026 (Summer 2026). - Full‑time remote work, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET. - U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship. - Verify graduation dates: Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 cohort first‑time graduate. Key Responsibilities - Prepare financial analyses, reports, and account reconciliations. - Assist month‑end accounting and close activities for Operations Finance. - Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies. - Develop and compare forecasts against actual results, providing discrepancy insights. - Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiencies. - Reconcile operational accounts. - Perform general administrative support for the finance and accounting team. Required Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present information clearly in small group settings. - Proactive, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
