Job Description: Job Title: Chief Technology Officer (Fractional) – AI & Large‑Scale Systems Role Summary: Fractional CTO and strategic partner responsible for delivering high‑value AI and enterprise solutions at multi‑figure scale. Leverages a fractional development agency, mobilizing over 150 engineers, to architect, build, and scale AI‑enabled SaaS platforms, agent systems, and data pipelines from MVP through production. Expectations: - Serve as the technical authority on all client projects, ensuring feasibility and execution. - Drive end‑to‑end design, delivery, and scaling of complex systems with no pre‑defined limits. - Operate in a long‑term, strategic capacity rather than short‑term consulting. Key Responsibilities: • Lead a fractional development agency and coordinate 150+ cross‑disciplinary engineers. • Own architectural design of enterprise-grade systems, including AI agents, automation workflows, SaaS platforms, and data pipelines. • Guide large distributed teams through full development life cycles (MVP → production → enterprise). • Make final technical decisions; ensure projects meet quality, scalability, and margin targets. • Align technology strategy with business objectives, maintaining delivery timelines and cost control. Required Skills: - Proven leadership of fractional or agency‑style development models. - Demonstrated delivery of seven‑ and eight‑figure projects. - Deep expertise in AI agents, AI automation, SaaS product development, data pipelines, backend infrastructure, and modern cloud architecture. - Systems‑centric thinking; ability to remove technical constraints. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic planning abilities. - Commercial awareness: delivery, margins, and timelines are paramount. - Effective cross‑functional team management and collaboration. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are preferred.
