Job Description

**Job Title:** Workday Functional Consultant - Finance ERP **Role Summary:** Deploy and optimize Workday Financial Management suite, bridging finance teams with technical configurations to streamline accounting processes and ensure compliance. **Expectations:** Strong ERP (Workday/SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) implementation experience in finance modules, expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows, and accounting standards. Proficiency in configuring core financial systems and delivering compliant solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Audit clients' financial processes and translate into Workday configurations. - Implement General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP/P2P), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets modules, including organizational dimensions and closures. - Design custom financial reports and dashboards for analytics and decision-making. - Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management for finance teams. - Ensure integration with peripheral systems (e.g., banking, HRM) and resolve configuration anomalies. - Advise on Workday best practices to enhance transactional process efficiency. **Required Skills:** - Deep understanding of Workday Finance modules (GL, AP/AR, Fixed Assets). - Expertise in P2P lifecycle, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance (IFRS/US GAAP). - Configuration, testing, and reporting capabilities in ERP environments. - Strong inter-personal skills for collaboration with finance stakeholders and technical teams. - English proficiency for international client engagements. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems. - Proven experience (minimum 3–5 years) in ERP implementation (Workday preferred, with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite as acceptable alternatives).
