Job Description
Job title: Operations Manager Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end customer operations, supply chain, inventory forecasting, and fulfillment across DTC e‑commerce and B2B retail channels. Drive operational excellence, maintain high service levels, and implement process improvements to support rapid growth. Expectations: - Deliver accurate order processing, returns, and exchanges within agreed SLAs. - Build strong relationships with B2B partners and supply‑chain teams. - Maintain inventory balance and forecast demand to optimise cash flow and stock‑holding. - Ensure smooth inbound/outbound logistics and third‑party fulfilment performance. - Produce monthly reporting and update SOPs. - Own continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost control. Key Responsibilities: - Manage full order lifecycle for e‑commerce and B2B, including returns and escalations. - Own customer service operations, ensuring responsive, high‑quality support. - Serve as primary contact for retail partners, handling purchase orders, EDI, invoicing, and shipment confirmations. - Forecast demand, place purchase orders, negotiate supplier terms, and monitor stock levels. - Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks. - Coordinate inbound deliveries to fulfilment centres and oversee outbound fulfilment metrics. - Maintain and enhance Sales Order Management SOPs and cross‑functional communication. - Produce month‑end operational reports covering sales, inventory, and fulfilment. - Lead process improvement projects for scalability and cost efficiency. Required Skills: - 3+ years in Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics. - Commercial acumen and customer‑service best‑practice knowledge. - Advanced Excel and data‑analysis proficiency; experience with Shopify. - Familiarity with retailer EDI platforms. - Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail, and organisational abilities. - Effective communication with suppliers, partners, and internal teams.
