Job Description: Job title: Construction Engineer Role Summary: Oversee the technical design, coordination, and monitoring of real‑estate projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Expactations: Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to agreed quality levels; maintain proactive stakeholder communication; continuously improve technical and energy‑performance aspects of buildings. Key Responsibilities: - Define and assess technical aspects of projects (preliminary studies, feasibility, construction choices). - Coordinate internal teams, external engineering, architectural, and contracting partners. - Monitor site progress, quality control, and cost management. - Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and industry standards. - Review technical bids and negotiate with suppliers/service providers. - Contribute to technical and energy‑related building components. - Produce clear, regular progress reports for project management. Required Skills: - Project management; site coordination; technical analysis; stakeholder collaboration. - Proactive, solution‑oriented, organized, strong prioritisation. - Proficiency with project tools (MS Project, BIM, AutoCAD, etc.). - Fluent in English and Dutch; knowledge of French advantageous. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Civil, Industrial, Construction, Electromechanics, Energy engineering, or equivalent. - Minimum 4–5 years experience in a similar role within real‑estate development, general contracting, or engineering firms.
