Technical Project Manager and Application Integration Specialist
**Role Summary**
Lead the migration of existing Aviation Security applications from ASP and ASA sections onto a unified ASeAP platform using Azure. Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, including planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder coordination, and testing of .NET web and standalone applications. Ensure smooth integration of new and legacy systems while maintaining data integrity and platform security.
**Expectations**
- Deliver project milestones on schedule and within scope.
- Apply risk‑management practices to safeguard delivery quality.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and status reporting.
- Foster collaboration across matrixed UN teams and external IT partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budget forecasts.
- Conduct feasibility studies and define technical requirements for new applications.
- Coordinate project activities with ASP, ASA, and ICT sections.
- Facilitate project meetings; keep documentation current and complete.
- Analyze legacy applications and identify integration opportunities.
- Collaborate with platform engineers to design and develop web and Azure‑based services.
- Define test plans, create test scripts, and perform system and UAT testing.
- Work with DBAs to design database schemas and execute data migrations.
- Manage issue tracking via JIRA and Team Foundation Server.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and end‑user training.
- Author technical design documents, user guides, and release notes.
**Required Skills**
- Project Management: Agile/Scrum, risk management, scope control.
- Programming: Advanced .NET (C#) development, ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
- Cloud Architecture: Azure services (Functions, App Service, Logic Apps), serverless concepts, networking, storage, VM management.
- Data Management: SQL Server, Data Migration, ETL best practices.
- Testing: Test plan creation, automated testing tools, QA processes.
- Issue Tracking: JIRA, Team Foundation Server.
- Documentation: Technical specification writing, process mapping.
- Communication: Stakeholder engagement, cross‑functional coordination.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince2, or equivalent).
- Microsoft Azure Certification (Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect).
- .NET Development certification (Microsoft).
- Agile Certification (CSM, PMI‑ACP) preferred.
