Job Title: Associate Role Summary: Associate on an early‑stage venture capital investment team, focused on 1–2 technology verticals (Software, Marketplaces, Consumer, FinTech) in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting. Expectations: - 2–4 years of experience in entrepreneurship, M&A, investing, or strategy consulting. - Demonstrated independence, analytical rigor, and a proactive “can‑do” attitude. - Fluent English (written and spoken); other languages a plus. Key Responsibilities: **Deal Origination** – - Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs and co‑investors within target sectors. - Systematically source and identify viable investment opportunities. - Scout and evaluate emerging technologies with disruption potential. - Track and advance the deal pipeline. **Deal Execution** – - Lead due diligence: assess management teams, market size, technology viability, and financial metrics. - Construct detailed financial models and valuations, forecast returns, and prepare investment memoranda. - Present findings to the investment committee and support the closing process, including legal oversight. **Portfolio Management** – - Assist senior team in board governance and monitoring portfolio company milestones and performance. - Identify and enable partnership or synergies between portfolio firms. - Provide strategic and operational support to portfolio companies on an ad‑hoc basis. Required Skills: - Strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills; proficiency in financial modeling. - In‑depth knowledge and passion for technology startups. - Excellent written and oral communication in English; ability to present complex findings clearly. - Project management, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. - Collaborative mindset with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
