Job Description
Job Title: Apprenticeships and Emerging Talent Lead Role Summary: Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s apprenticeship and emerging talent programmes, driving increased enrolment and completion rates. Partner with retail, distribution, and external training providers to embed apprenticeships across the colleague journey and deliver high‑quality learning experiences that align with business objectives. Expections: - Manage programme development, coordination, and compliance with regulatory and funding requirements. - Promote apprenticeship opportunities through engagement events, roadshows, and internal communications. - Analyse monthly apprenticeship data, report progress, and recommend improvement actions. - Support and mentor apprentices and emerging talent participants, ensuring a positive journey. - Participate in community and social mobility projects, such as the JDUP Programme. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the apprenticeship and emerging talent strategy. - Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external training partners. - Embed apprenticeship pathways within retail and other development routes. - Coordinate programme delivery, monitor quality, and deliver continuous improvement. - Promote and evangelise apprenticeship programmes internally and externally. - Ensure compliance with apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and regulation. - Manage the daily apprenticeship service (DAS) and related reporting. - Analyse data, prepare monthly reports, and identify improvement opportunities. - Provide guidance and support to apprentices and emerging talent participants. - Support team development and career progression for apprenticeships staff. - Engage with community and social mobility initiatives. Required Skills: - Proven experience managing/supporting apprenticeship and emerging career programmes in a large organisation, preferably retail. - In‑depth knowledge of apprenticeship standards, funding, and regulatory frameworks. - Strong stakeholder‑management, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to develop and deliver training programmes and manage continuous improvement processes. - Analytical mindset for data reporting and performance tracking. - Presenter experience, able to advocate and promote programmes to diverse audiences. - Passion for inclusive learning environments and social mobility. Required Education & Certifications: - Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field. - Certifications in apprenticeship management or training delivery (e.g., CIPD, ATD) preferred. - DBS check (or equivalent) due to work with young people.

**Job Title:** Information Technology Head of GRC **Role Summary:** Strategic leader responsible for defining and executing the global Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) strategy for the organization’s IT function. Drives risk‑aware culture, ensures regulatory compliance, oversees IT General Controls (ITGC), and reports GRC performance to senior leadership and the board. **Expectations:** - Shape and embed a robust GRC framework aligned with corporate objectives. - Influence senior stakeholders and foster cross‑functional collaboration. - Maintain transparent governance structures and effective risk registers. - Lead continuous improvement of security and compliance processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define, implement, and maintain group‑wide GRC policies, standards, and frameworks. - Monitor and assess effectiveness of information security and ITGC against evolving threats and best practices. - Oversee third‑party and systems integrator compliance with contractual security obligations. - Report GRC metrics, emerging risks, and control effectiveness to executive management, Audit Committee, and Board. - Build and manage a high‑performing GRC team (compliance, risk, ITGC specialists). - Promote a strong risk and compliance culture across the organization. - Identify service improvement opportunities and drive their execution. - Coordinate with IT Security, Finance, Internal Audit, and Legal to align risk management activities. **Required Skills:** - Deep expertise in ITGC, enterprise risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. - Proven leadership and team‑building capabilities. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities. - Ability to develop and apply repeatable methodologies for security monitoring. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (any discipline). - 12+ years progressive experience in GRC, governance, risk, compliance, or audit; minimum 5 years in senior leadership. - Preferred certifications: CISA, CRISC, CISM, CIA, CISSP (or equivalent).
