Job Description
**Job Title** Scrum Master (12‑month FTC) **Role Summary** Facilitate Agile delivery for a product team within Group Transformation, coach teams on Scrum practices, remove impediments, and coordinate across multiple squads to support strategic objectives. **Expectations** - Lead and coach at least one product team through the full Scrum life‑cycle. - Foster self‑organisation, continuous improvement, and high engagement. - Collaborate with senior Scrum Masters and the broader community of practice. - Ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery that aligns with business priorities. **Key Responsibilities** - Orchestrate key Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑up, Sprint Review, Retrospective). - Empower teams to self‑organise, make decisions and honour commitments. - Coach and mentor team members on Scrum principles, Definition of Done, and quality standards. - Maintain Agile tracking tools (backlogs, burn‑down charts, time tracking) for transparency. - Analyse and report progress using data‑driven metrics. - Liaise with Product Managers to align sprints with business priorities. - Remove multi‑team impediments and promote best practices. - Identify and advocate new tools or processes that improve efficiency. - Contribute to the Scrum Master community of practice through knowledge sharing and support. - Manage personal development goals in partnership with manager. **Required Skills** - Strong facilitation and coaching abilities. - Deep understanding of Scrum framework and Agile principles. - Experience coordinating multiple teams or programs. - Proficiency with Agile tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Analytical mindset for data‑driven progress reporting. - Problem‑solving skills and ability to handle change management. - Collaborative and inclusive leadership style. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience). - Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred. - Experience in a retail or omni‑channel environment a plus, but not mandatory.
