Job Description
**Job Title:** Data Analyst **Role Summary:** Deliver and maintain insightful reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs; respond to ad‑hoc data requests; transform raw data into analysis‑ready datasets; collaborate with stakeholders, data engineers, and product teams to drive data‑informed decisions and shape the analytics roadmap. **Expectations:** - Minimum 4 years of professional experience delivering business insights and analysis. - Proven ability to work independently in an Agile environment, manage priorities, and take ownership of deliverables. - Strong communication skills to convey complex findings to technical and non‑technical audiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create, publish, and sustain value‑add reports, dashboards, and visualisations. - Conduct ad‑hoc analysis and respond to data requests across the organisation. - Analyse large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities. - Apply statistical and analytical techniques to generate actionable insights. - Partner with stakeholders to define business needs and design analytical solutions. - Work with data engineers to ensure data quality, accuracy, and readiness for analysis. - Enhance and maintain self‑service analytics tools and data products. - Document data sources, methodologies, and quality standards. - Contribute to the long‑term analytics roadmap; assist product and project managers in backlog refinement and sprint planning. **Required Skills:** - Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction and manipulation. - Experience with BI/visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). - Strong programming ability (Python preferred, or equivalent). - Solid statistical analysis and modelling techniques. - Data‑wrangling skills with large, complex datasets. - Agile teamwork and collaboration with cross‑functional partners. - Excellent written and verbal communication. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Certified Business Intelligence Professional) are a plus but not mandatory.
