**Job title**
Senior Consultant – Transaction Services
**Role Summary**
Lead and deliver financial due diligence projects for buy‑side and sell‑side transactions involving mid‑market firms, large corporations, and private‑equity funds, often with international scope. Manage and mentor a small team of analysts, ensure quality of deliverables, and communicate key findings to senior management and clients.
**Expectations**
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Transaction Services or related M&A advisory.
• Proven track record of leading due diligence engagements from start to finish.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication, both written and oral, with senior stakeholders and teams.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Professional proficiency in French; business‑level English required.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Conduct comprehensive financial due diligence (buy‑side and sell‑side) for mid‑market to large‑cap clients, including international transactions (~50 % of assignments).
2. Lead project planning, scope definition, and schedule management, ensuring on‑time delivery of high‑quality output.
3. Mentor and coach junior analysts; review work products and provide constructive feedback.
4. Identify, analyse, and address complex transaction issues and risks.
5. Prepare detailed due diligence reports, executive summaries, and presentation materials for client and internal review.
6. Present findings and recommendations to clients, managers, Senior Managers, and Directors.
7. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (valuation, legal, tax) to integrate transaction insights.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced financial analysis and valuation capabilities.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, macros, financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication in both French and English.
- Leadership and mentoring experience in a consulting environment.
- Stress tolerance, adaptability, and strong organizational skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MSc, MBA) or professional certification (CFA, ACA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
