Job Description: **Job Title** Development & Partnerships Prospect Research Associate (Contract) **Role Summary** Provide research, data management, and lead generation support for a 12‑month fundraising campaign, focusing on high‑net‑worth prospects, family foundations, and event attendance, reporting to the Associate Director of Development & Partnerships. **Expectations** - Deliver accurate prospect research and Salesforce data management. - Collaborate across teams to expand the donor pipeline and support gala planning. - Maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy policies. - Work independently to meet deadlines and adapt to evolving priorities. **Key Responsibilities** - Utilize Altrata and DonorAtlas to identify, qualify, and track high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth prospects and family foundations. - Map prospect connections to Acumen leadership, coordinate with relationship managers, and monitor outreach progress. - Research and qualify potential attendees for the 2027 25th‑anniversary gala. - Manage Salesforce data entry, quality control, and reporting. - Generate leads through research and targeted outreach to lapsed partners and prospects. - Create and analyze Salesforce reports to inform fundraising and event trends. - Provide additional support as needed across related initiatives. **Required Skills** - Minimum 1 year experience in US non‑profit fundraising or philanthropy with prospect research focus. - Advanced research and data mining capabilities; proficiency in sophisticated constituent data queries. - Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively across geographies. - Proficient with Altrata, DonorAtlas, and Salesforce; Salesforce reporting knowledge. - Ability to handle confidential information and uphold privacy standards. - Self‑starter, adaptable, and proactive with a commitment to high ethical standards. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in business, communications, economics, or a related field. - Salesforce certification preferred. - Permanent US work authorization.
