**Job Title**
General Superintendent – Civil Works (M/F)
**Role Summary**
Lead the planning, scheduling, coordination, and supervision of civil works production on a large-scale bridge‑tunnel expansion project. Manage onsite workforce, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and safety to deliver the project on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract specifications.
**Expectations**
- ≥7 years heavy‑civil construction experience (roads, bridges, marine, tunneling).
- ≥3 years of management experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong leadership and mentoring ability.
- Proven track record of enforcing safety, quality, and schedule controls.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed contract plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Competence in mathematical reasoning for scheduling and resource planning.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and review daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules and methods.
- Coordinate with field engineering, estimating, and workforce to align production plans.
- Manage equipment and material procurement in collaboration with internal and external vendors.
- Identify and mitigate project risks related to construction methods, scheduling, materials, safety, and compliance.
- Supervise subcontractor production and workforce, adjusting schedules and methods as needed.
- Ensure completion of mandatory inspections and adherence to safety, process, and documentation protocols.
- Prepare and document daily activity reports, meeting notes, and production logs using approved formats.
- Oversee project close‑out activities in line with Owner and owner/owner checklists.
- Present production plans at initial project meetings and maintain alignment among all crews.

**Required Education & Certifications**

- Valid driver’s license
- (Optional but preferred) OSHA safety certifications and other relevant construction safety credentials.
