Job title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer Role Summary: Lead and maintain a Microsoft-based infrastructure estate, ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable systems. Provide day‑to‑day stability, drive modernization initiatives, and support hybrid cloud environments. Expectations: Deliver operational excellence for Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, and VMware platforms. Drive upgrades, migrations, and continuous improvement while managing incident response and disaster recovery. Key Responsibilities: - Support, maintain, and optimize Windows Server and AD/Entra ID environments. - Administer Microsoft 365 services (Intune, EMS, Defender, Autopilot). - Manage Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure. - Maintain VMware virtualized environments. - Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects. - Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement structured resolution processes. - Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing, and resilience activities. - Produce and maintain accurate infrastructure documentation. - Provide 2nd/3rd line support for infrastructure incidents. - Escalate vendor-related issues appropriately. - Support continuous improvement of infrastructure standards, security, and operations. - Participate in out‑of‑hours support rotation as required. Required Skills: - Strong experience with Windows Server, AD/Entra ID, Microsoft 365 (Intune, EMS, Defender, Autopilot). - Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and hybrid cloud environments. - Adept at VMware virtualization. - Knowledge of backup, recovery, and high‑availability concepts. - PowerShell scripting and automation. - Structured troubleshooting and analytical problem‑solving. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement. - Collaborative team player with strong time‑management and organizational skills. - Positive attitude toward continuous learning and development.
