Job Description: **Job Title** Senior Software Developer (Remote-EU) **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Linux‑based, system‑level and networked software for an international engineering team. Lead architectural decisions, mentor junior developers, and ensure code quality and performance across multiple platforms in a cross‑border, English‑speaking environment. **Expactations** - Deliver scalable, performant software solutions on Linux. - Actively participate in technical design, code reviews, and process improvement. - Communicate complex concepts clearly in written and verbal English. - Mentor and share knowledge with junior team members. - Support continuous integration, deployment, and DevOps practices. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect, code, and maintain scalable Linux systems. - Develop core modules in PHP, Python, JavaScript; implement performance‑critical components in C, C++, or Rust. - Design and support networked and communication applications. - Translate product and QA requirements into technical solutions. - Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and refine development processes. - Mentor junior developers and facilitate knowledge sharing. - Participate in English‑language technical discussions. - Collaborate with product, QA, and other engineering teams across time zones. **Required Skills** - 5+ years professional software development. - Proficiency in Linux system development. - Strong command of PHP, Python, JavaScript. - Hands‑on experience with C, C++, or Rust. - Deep understanding of networked and communication systems. - Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent communication in English. - Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and system‑level optimization (desired). - Demonstrated mentoring or technical leadership (desired). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline. - No additional certifications required; relevant technical certifications are a plus.
