Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Consultant, Fixed Assets **Role Summary** Design, evaluate, and implement a system‑driven Fixed Asset Management solution for a large industrial client using Microsoft Dynamics. Focus on component‑level tracking, partial disposals, automated depreciation, and integration with maintenance/CMMS systems to replace manual Excel processes and improve reporting accuracy. **Expectations** - Deliver a scalable, technology‑centric solution that addresses current functional gaps. - Translate accounting, operational, and system requirements into practical, sustainable improvements. - Provide ongoing support and roadmap development for future ERP enhancements within the organization. - Potential for long‑term involvement in a broader ERP program focused on fixed‑asset functionality. **Key Responsibilities** - Assess current fixed‑asset processes, data structures, and Dynamics configuration. - Recommend and design component tracking and depreciation automation solutions. - Evaluate third‑party add‑ons or tools to enhance Dynamics capabilities. - Create a detailed implementation roadmap and integration plan with maintenance/CMMS. - Deliver best‑practice guidance and technical expertise in asset lifecycle accounting. - Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership. **Required Skills** - Deep experience in Fixed Asset Management for large, asset‑heavy industrial organizations. - Proven track record designing or implementing componentization or partial‑disposal solutions. - Strong knowledge of depreciation models, asset life‑cycle accounting, and integration with maintenance or CMMS systems. - Ability to translate complex accounting and operational requirements into system‑based solutions. - Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics (or similar ERP) and related reporting tools. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. - Relevant professional certification (CPA, CMA, CISA, or similar) preferred.
