Job Description
**Job Title** HR Manager France – 6 Months Maternity Cover **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end HR business partnership and operational support for 160 FTE at the French manufacturing site plus 40 staff at Synthos Wingles. Handle all personnel functions—recruitment, onboarding, labor relations, HRIS, compliance, performance, compensation, health & safety, and off‑boarding—while liaising with senior leadership, unions, and payroll. **Expactations** - Deliver seamless HR operations for the duration of the maternity cover (March–August 2026). - Maintain 100 % compliance with French labor laws and company agreements. - Manage the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to exit, ensuring administrative accuracy. - Support budget management, training allocation, and performance review processes. - Negotiate with labor unions and conduct works‑council meetings. **Key Responsibilities** - Respond to all HR queries from employees and managers; provide guidance on contracts, promotions, warnings, terminations, working‑time changes, and temp staffing. - Oversee employee lifecycle administration and competency development. - Conduct works‑council hearings, negotiate company labour agreements (CLA). - Prepare HR reporting, surveys, and audit documentation. - Participate in final interview panels and recruitment decision‑making. - Manage annual training plan, approve new requests, and monitor budget. - Communicate monthly payroll changes to payroll officer; approve payroll. - Supervise company health insurance, provident fund, supplementary pension schemes. - Monitor performance reviews; approve salary/grade increases. - Track medical screening, occupational health declarations, and accidents. - Execute termination and exit interview procedures. **Required Skills** - Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum 10 years of HR general management experience, preferably in manufacturing. - Deep knowledge of all HR functions within the French market. - Fluent in English (written & spoken). - Strong negotiation skills with labor unions. - Results‑oriented, with solid business and commercial acumen. - Familiarity with French labour legislation and market practices. - Ability to collaborate with global and regional HR teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - Relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM‑SP, HRCI‑SPHR) preferred but not mandatory.
