Job Description
**Job title:** VP of Data Center Service **Role Summary:** Lead global data center service strategy, sales execution, and operational excellence. Directs cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality services, drive revenue growth, and manage financial risk across a rapidly expanding organization. **Expectations:** - Deliver profitable growth and maintain a strong service portfolio. - Provide executive‑level oversight of P&L and risk management. - Ensure seamless customer escalation resolution and adherence to SLAs. - Engage regularly with executive leadership, Board, and clients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and evolve global service coverage models and resource load plans. - Lead service sales and business development, supporting pipeline creation and deal close‑outs. - Develop and maintain service quotes, presentations, SLA templates, and other sales tools. - Serve as final escalation point for customer issues and internal cross‑functional escalations. - Oversee financial oversight: P&L guidance, revenue true‑ups, liability exposure, and risk mitigation. - Cultivate a service culture focused on professionalism, accountability, and client partnership. - Maintain recruiting accountability for global service staffing needs. - Prepare and present service performance updates to executive leadership and Board. **Required Skills:** - Extensive experience leading global or complex service operations. - Proven ability to negotiate and manage large‑scale service contracts. - Strong background in service sales, financial stewardship, and cross‑functional leadership. - Excellent executive communication and presentation skills. - Ability to travel globally as required. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Business, Engineering, or related field. - Executive leadership, project management, or service management certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
