**Job title** Senior Software Engineer (Rust) **Role Summary** Lead the conversion of research prototypes into production‑grade Rust and Python systems. Own end‑to‑end delivery, from unclear specifications to fully tested, scalable microservices and data pipelines, collaborating closely with ML researchers and engineers to integrate research outputs into functional products. **Expactations** - Deliver production‑ready code with high reliability and performance. - Navigate ambiguous requirements, clarify needs, and drive projects to completion. - Exhibit ownership, rigor, and a bias for fast, high‑quality shipping. - Adapt rapidly to shifting priorities in a fast‑moving environment. **Key Responsibilities** - Translate high‑level research concepts into maintainable, well‑tested Rust/Python code. - Own end‑to‑end deliverables: requirement clarification, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post‑production monitoring. - Build and maintain APIs, data pipelines, microservices, and internal tooling. - Conduct code reviews, participate in architecture discussions, and mentor junior engineers. - Collaborate with researchers and ML engineers to embed models and research outputs into production workflows. - Contribute to process improvements for building, shipping, and delivering features across teams. **Required Skills** - 5+ years of full‑stack software engineering with production experience. - Strong proficiency in Rust; solid background in Python. - Experience designing and implementing APIs, data pipelines, and microservices. - Deep commitment to code quality: tests, documentation, performance, and maintainability. - Ability to work with incomplete specs and drive projects to completion. - Comfortable in ambiguous, rapidly evolving contexts; shows ownership. - Experience with ML research or ML infrastructure a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). ---
