Job Description
**Job title:** Senior Project Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead project controls and operational execution for multi‑disciplinary EPC projects. Own the full project lifecycle from quantity monitoring and contract administration to planning, procurement, and reporting, while coordinating cross‑functional teams and maintaining client, vendor, and subcontractor relationships. **Expectations:** Deliver projects on scope, time, and budget. Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Provide accurate, timely status reports and effective communication with stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Produce weekly, monthly, and contract‑required reports for clients and management. - Administer contracts, review and approve purchase orders and subcontracts. - Develop and enforce site‑specific safety and quality plans; conduct safety training and meetings. - Create quantity calculation formulas and perform material takeoffs from drawings and specifications. - Plan, schedule, and coordinate on‑site work groups, including procurement status tracking. - Process labor timesheets, ensuring accuracy and timely submission for customer approval. - Conduct JSA training, toolbox and mass safety meetings. - Perform complex engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations. - Gather and prepare field data for submittals, transmittals, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance. **Required Skills:** - Project management and EPC lifecycle knowledge. - Contract administration and procurement processes. - Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project). - Strong quantity surveying and cost control ability. - Safety management and OSHA/PEP compliance. - Technical drafting (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and engineering calculation skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder coordination. - Detail‑oriented, analytical, and proactive problem‑solving. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 certification preferred. - OSHA safety training or equivalent certification. ---
