Job Description

**Job Title** Freelance Sponsorship & Partnerships Consultant **Role Summary** Provide business development expertise to structure, market, and sell sponsorship and partnership opportunities for a high‑traffic finance newsletter. Drive revenue growth, expand the sponsor base, and establish a network of co‑produced newsletters. **Expectations** - Deliver measurable sponsorship deals and partnership agreements. - Work autonomously, managing all stages from prospecting to closing and reporting. - Collaborate closely with the founder to refine monetization funnels. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify and target ideal sponsors (fintech startups, real‑estate funds, ETFs, wealth‑management consultants, insurers, online banks, software publishers). - Develop clear, compelling media kits, case studies, and visibility options. - Prospect, negotiate, and close deals with sponsors, long‑term partners, and co‑production partners. - Build and operate a small syndication network of partner newsletters (phase 2). - Produce monthly deal‑summary reports. - Continuously optimize the monetization funnel in partnership with the founder. **Required Skills** - Proven prospecting, negotiation, and deal‑closing record. - Understanding of newsletter ecosystems, content‑marketing, and digital advertising. - Interest or experience in finance, wealth management, or financial education. - Self‑starter, highly autonomous, and adept at implementing simple processes. - (Optional) Existing contacts in finance or investment. **Required Education & Certifications** - No specific degree or certification required; experience in business development or sales within digital media or finance is preferred.
