Job Description
**Job Title** Data Engineer (H/F) **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain scalable data systems and pipelines to support business needs. Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability while collaborating with local and international teams on data platform initiatives. **Expectations** - Proven senior‑level experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or equivalent. - Strong motivation to stay current with data engineering trends and continuous learning. - Ability to work autonomously and within cross‑functional, multicultural teams. - Excellent communication skills in French and English. - Detail‑oriented, embodying agility, integrity, diversity, excellence, and responsibility. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze, combine, and prepare data according to business requirements and design specifications. - Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data processing workflows. - Optimize and refactor existing data models to improve quality and reliability. - Implement data quality monitoring and ensure data accuracy and availability. - Develop and sustain the local segment of the Group’s data platform. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global peers on data infrastructure, solution design, and tooling. - Produce structured documentation of processes, reports, and data flows. **Required Skills** - Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP. - ETL tools and processes. - Relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MSSQL). - Advanced Python programming. - Data infrastructure, governance, integration, storage, and modeling. - Orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Azure Data Factory. - High‑performance data processing libraries (e.g., Delta Lake, Polars, PySpark). **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s degree (Bac + 5) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Engineering, or a related field, **or** equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., cloud provider data engineering certs) are a plus.
