Job Title: IT Business Analyst (Finance)
Role Summary:
Analyze, design, and support the deployment of finance and business applications across a global organization, ensuring alignment with business strategy and financial objectives. Facilitate data-driven decision making through comprehensive reporting, BI development, and system optimization.
Expectations:
- Deliver actionable insights and system recommendations that enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Champion end‑user adoption and change management for new or upgraded applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with stakeholders to elicit business, financial, and operational requirements; define scope and outcome criteria.
- Review current systems, identify inefficiencies, and develop improvement strategies.
- Collaborate on planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements.
- Conduct market research, cost‑benefit, and ROI analyses to support procurement decisions.
- Create, maintain, and optimize BI reports (Oracle BI Publisher, Microsoft Power BI, OTBI) and data models.
- Ensure system compatibility, interoperability, and performance; conduct end‑user acceptance testing.
- Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to end users.
- Monitor and resolve system issues, update configurations, and manage change control procedures.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of translating technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI; experience designing data models.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion (technical and functional modules: GL, AR, AP, PPM, SCM, Core HR, Talent, Recruitment, Absence, OTL).
- Familiarity with Oracle EPM, Hyperion Financial Management, InEight Cloud, InEight Document, Intelex Safety.
- Experience in data import/export for reporting, database management, and performance tuning.
- Project management fundamentals; PMP or Business Analysis certification a plus.
- Fluency in English.
Required Education & Certifications:
- College diploma or university degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software system deployment and support within a global cloud/on‑premise environment.
- (Optional) PMP, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or equivalent.
