Job Description
**Job Title** Summer Intern – Renewable Energy (2026) **Role Summary** A 10–12 week, paid internship focusing on renewable energy projects. Interns work with cross‑functional teams in engineering, project management, procurement, IT, data science, finance, or human resources to complete real‑world projects that support grid modernization, system performance, and digital infrastructure protection. **Expactations** - Deliver measurable project outcomes within the internship term. - Participate in mentorship, networking, and professional development workshops. - Demonstrate strong academic performance and a proactive, collaborative attitude. - Show clear interest in energy sustainability and innovative technology. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist technical teams in designing or testing renewable systems (wind, solar, storage). - Support project scheduling, budget tracking, and milestone reporting. - Contribute to sourcing strategies, supplier coordination, and logistics oversight. - Help implement IT solutions and basic cybersecurity safeguards. - Analyze data sets and generate insights for business decisions. - Support financial planning, accounting reporting, and analysis. - Aid HR initiatives related to talent acquisition, employee experience, or organizational development. **Required Skills** - Strong written and verbal communication. - Ability to work effectively in team settings. - Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills. - Self‑driven, motivated, and eager to learn. - Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or related technologies. - Community service or volunteer experience is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications** - Current undergraduate or graduate student (rising junior, senior, or master’s candidate). - Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in engineering, project management, procurement, IT, data science, finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field. - Demonstrated strong academic record. - Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship required).
