Job Description
Job Title: IT Solutions Architect Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of a global IT architecture model to ensure scalable, interoperable systems that meet current and future business needs. Expectations: Drive architecture strategy, maintain alignment with business objectives, introduce commercial solutions, and continuously evaluate emerging technologies for value. Key Responsibilities: - Define information and data architecture across all systems to enable interoperability and corporate data access. - Represent the management committee in project teams, communicating decisions aligned with strategy. - Design, plan, conduct studies, and execute technology choices in line with enterprise architecture and service strategy. - Provide governance directives on security, privacy, and architecture compliance. - Lead architecture, design, integration, configuration, testing, and deployment of IT solutions, utilizing external experts when needed. - Perform security risk assessments of infrastructure, applications, and internal procedures. - Propose and present innovation frameworks, analyzing impacts on applications, data, and technology. - Define the reference framework and methodology for enterprise IT architecture to ensure global consistency and guide future evolution. - Evaluate emerging technologies for applicability and potential value; recommend pilots or adoption plans. Required Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience. - Proven knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and related technologies. - Understanding of Business Architecture principles. - Experience with TOGAF (asset). - Strong business acumen, ability to translate business problems into technology solutions. - Excellent communication and influencing skills across all hierarchical levels. - Fluency in French and English (spoken and written). - Demonstrated leadership, initiative, open‑mindedness, creativity, and rigor. Required Education & Certifications: - First‑cycle university degree in Computer Science (or equivalent). - TOGAF certification preferred. ---
