Job Description: **Job Title:** Maintenance Methods Engineer Internship (F/M) **Role Summary:** A 6‑month internship for a senior‑year engineering student focused on optimizing preventive maintenance processes, enhancing equipment reliability, and supporting field teams in the application of best‑practice procedures. **Expectations:** * Deliver tangible improvements in maintenance procedures and performance metrics. * Demonstrate initiative, analytical rigor, and effective teamwork. * Work autonomously while maintaining strong communication with technical and managerial staff. **Key Responsibilities:** - Update and refine preventive maintenance plans. - Analyze historical intervention data to identify improvement opportunities. - Monitor equipment performance KPIs and propose corrective actions. - Assist in inventory and stock‑management solutions. - Draft operating procedures, best‑practice sheets, and maintenance forms (paper and electronic). - Contribute to the structuring of technical databases. - Conduct field and administrative audits; develop improvement plans. - Facilitate workgroups on maintenance challenges and track corrective measures. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Proactive self‑management and initiative. - Excellent interpersonal skills; capable of working in team settings. - Organizational acumen and service‑oriented mindset. - Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. - Previous exposure to a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is advantageous. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Final year or final‑year graduate student in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline). - At least one prior internship or apprenticeship in maintenance, methods, or continuous‑improvement processes. - No specific certifications required; CMMS experience preferred.
