Job Description
Job title: Sr DevOps Engineer Role Summary: Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and observability solutions that support enterprise applications in a regulated healthcare environment. Expectations: Deliver high‑availability, secure, and compliant infrastructure; collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, architecture, operations, and cybersecurity teams; work three days onsite at the hospital (Tuesday‑Thursday). Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines across development, testing, and production. • Develop and manage IaC for cloud and hybrid environments (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi). • Provision and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes or equivalent platforms. • Implement observability stack (metrics, logs, tracing) and enforce monitoring dashboards. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, ISO, etc.) through automated controls. • Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and security incidents; provide root‑cause analysis. • Mentor and train teams on DevOps practices and tools. Required Skills: • CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Azure DevOps). • IaC expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi). • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure. • Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). • Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry). • Security and compliance best practices (IAM, encryption, vulnerability scanning). • Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and documentation skills. Required Education & Certifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent (required). • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred. • Professional certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer).
