Job Description
Job Title: Account Executive – GRC Role Summary: Founding sales executive tasked with building and owning the Midwest territory for an AI‑powered Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform. Drives net‑new enterprise sales, shapes local go‑to‑market strategy, and delivers quota attainment in a high‑growth scale‑up environment. Expactations: - 3+ years of enterprise‑level SaaS sales, preferably in GRC or cybersecurity. - Proven hunter mentality with track record closing complex, regulated‑industry deals. - Strong ability to operate autonomously in a fast‑moving scale‑up. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a territory plan from ground up, identifying and qualifying high‑potential enterprise accounts. - Lead all stages of the sales cycle: prospecting, solution consulting, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing. - Collaborate with product, marketing, and strategy teams to refine local GTM messaging and positioning. - Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast data; achieve or exceed assigned quota. - Provide market and customer feedback to inform product roadmap and regional strategy. - Represent the company at industry events, in deal halls, and in calls with senior stakeholders. Required Skills: - Enterprise SaaS sales experience with complex, multi‑person closed deals. - Deep understanding of GRC or cybersecurity landscapes. - Strong research, stakeholder‑management, and negotiation abilities. - Self‑motivated, goal‑driven, and comfortable working independently. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; persuasive presentation skills. - Data‑driven mindset; comfortable with sales analytics and CRM systems. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). - No specific certifications required.
