**Job Title:** Data Scientist (W2 Only) **Role Summary:** Lead the design, development, and deployment of GenAI and ML models that enhance advisor experience, perform lead scoring, and drive sales revenue. Provide technical direction, mentor a small AI/ML team, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business challenges into data‑driven solutions. **Expectations:** - Own high‑impact data science initiatives within a 12‑month contract, with potential extension. - Deliver scalable, production‑ready models that integrate with existing advisor products. - Influence business stakeholders, promote AI adoption, and demonstrate measurable ROI. - Maintain rigorous CI/CD, testing, and monitoring practices for model deployment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement ML/LLM solutions for sales and advisor workflows. - Select appropriate data, algorithms, training regimes, and evaluation metrics. - Mentor and manage a small team of AI/ML engineers, ensuring best practices in model development. - Communicate model design, results, and improvement ideas to technical and non‑technical audiences. - Coordinate external vendors for data science tasks when needed. - Apply CI/CD/CT pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Harness) and cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure Agentic AI) for model lifecycle management. - Deploy and maintain LLMs, RAG, LangChain/Graph, and agentic AI components. - Identify new opportunities for AI to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency. **Required Skills:** - Programming: Python, SQL; cloud: AWS, SageMaker; tooling: JIRA, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CloudBees, Harness). - ML/AI: deep knowledge of ML theory, supervised/unsupervised algorithms, XGBoost, tree‑based models, and Large Language Models (OpenAI, Claude). - Model Ops: CI/CD, A/B testing, monitoring, automated testing (TDD). - LLM Technologies: deployment, retrieval‑augmented generation, LangChain, LangGraph, agentic AI concepts. - Agile & Product Management: Scrum/Kanban, stakeholder management, business analysis. - Soft Skills: problem solving, communication, collaboration, leadership, continuous learning mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience). ---
