Job Description

Job title: Account Manager Role Summary: Senior client‑success professional overseeing enterprise and mid‑market e‑commerce accounts, primarily on Shopify. Acts as the bridge between sales, production, and client, ensuring project delivery, satisfaction, and growth opportunities. Expections: 4‑6 years experience in sales or account management within e‑commerce/technology; proven success with Shopify or agency projects; strong communication, strategic thinking, and client‑centric mindset. Key Responsibilities - Serve as primary client contact: conduct regular check‑ins, resolve escalations, and identify upsell opportunities. - Collaborate with sales to hand off new accounts, and with production to allocate resources and manage timelines. - Develop and present strategic recommendation briefs, Growth Councils, and client presentations aligned with agency standards. - Monitor project risks, scope creep, and proactively propose solutions in partnership with production teams. - Communicate production concerns back to clients, ensuring transparency and alignment. - Track client objectives, articulate goals clearly, and deliver ongoing account growth through retainer workstreams. - Travel to client/site locations as needed, including outside business hours. Required Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication, public speaking, and presentation abilities. - Strong organizational and time‑management skills; detail‑oriented and self‑motivated. - Familiarity with web development fundamentals, design/ usability best practices, and Shopify ecosystem. - Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Figma, HubSpot; ability to learn Jira, Slack, TeamGantt, etc. - Ability to manage workload under pressure, maintain a positive attitude, and thrive in a team‑first environment. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). ---
