Job Description: **Job Title**: Intern M&A **Role Summary** Intern in Mergers & Acquisitions focusing on European B2B SaaS transactions. Works directly with the Head of M&A to source deals, perform due diligence, model valuations, and support decision‑making across the transaction lifecycle. **Expectations** - Acquire end‑to‑end exposure to M&A streams from sourcing to investment confirmation. - Develop analytical, communication, and project‑management skills in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional setting. - Demonstrate accountability through owned deliverables and proactive initiative. **Key Responsibilities** - Conduct proactive desktop research to identify potential investment targets. - Evaluate inbound deal flow and prepare preliminary assessments. - Support investment decision making by leading due‑diligence workstreams, arranging reference calls, and providing market research. - Build and review SaaS operating models, LBO valuations, and financial projections in Excel. - Draft investment memos and presentations in Word/PowerPoint. - Manage transaction milestones, including origination calls, management meetings, and price negotiations. - Collaborate with portfolio CEOs and external investment partners to assess value‑creation opportunities. **Required Skills** - Strong financial literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. - Prior internship or work experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, or private equity is a plus. - Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities. - Initiative‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset, and curiosity about SaaS markets. - Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines. **Required Education & Certifications** - First‑class bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Science, or Engineering. - Fluent in Dutch and English. ---
