Job Description
**Job title:** Web Development Intern **Role Summary:** Provide hands‑on support to a Drupal‑based e‑commerce team, developing and maintaining website features, themes, and modules while gaining real‑world experience with modern web technologies and best practices. **Expectations:** - Pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or equivalent. - Demonstrate basic competency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git. - Strong analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist in building and updating a Drupal 9/10 e‑commerce site. - Create and modify content types, views, blocks, menus, and themes using Twig, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Configure modules, perform site administration, and support content migrations and deployments. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development, staging, and production environments. - Participate in code reviews and adopt Drupal coding standards. - Collaborate with designers, project managers, and senior developers to deliver functional features. - Contribute to internal documentation and knowledge base updates. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in PHP (or similar C‑type language), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Git. - Familiarity with CMS concepts, especially Drupal. - Ability to learn and apply REST API usage, SQL (MySQL/MariaDB), and Composer. - Basic knowledge of Linux command line, Docker or local development tools (e.g., Lando, DDEV). **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment or recent completion of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or related discipline.
