Job Description
**Job Title:** Junior M&A Analyst Intern (Césure) – Starting July 2026 **Role Summary:** Support the Corporate Finance team on international merger‑and‑acquisition (M&A) projects. Conduct financial, sectoral and strategic research, help identify and qualify targets or buyers, and assist in preparation of analytical deliverables and presentation materials. **Expactations:** - Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. - Proactive communication and teamwork in a multicultural environment. - Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. - High motivation to learn corporate finance and international M&A processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather and analyse financial, market and strategic data on potential acquisition targets or buyers. - Identify, screen and qualify companies for M&A opportunities. - Participate in prospecting activities and initial outreach to targets/acquirers. - Perform valuation analyses, financial adjustments, and comparable company assessments. - Prepare and format deliverables, including pitch books, memoranda and internal reports. - Support senior team members in transaction execution and client communications. **Required Skills:** - Advanced proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint. - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a plus. - Solid analytical and quantitative abilities; adept at data synthesis. - Curiosity and rigor, with a collaborative team spirit. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Currently enrolled in a Master’s program (M1) – business school, engineering school or university with a specialization in Corporate Finance, M&A, or related field. - Prior exposure to M&A, audit, transaction services, consulting or private equity (internship or project work) is advantageous.
