Job Description
**Job Title:** Sales & Business Development Representative (SDR/BDR) **Role Summary:** Serve as the first point of contact for prospects, managing and qualifying inbound leads while building qualified prospect lists. Convert qualified opportunities into meetings for Account Executives, ensuring a seamless hand‑off and driving sales pipeline growth through outbound prospecting and database enrichment. **Expectations:** - 1–2 years of proven prospecting, business development, or lead qualification experience. - Fluency in English. - Strong communication, listening, organizational, and analytical abilities. - Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). - Knowledge of the media industry is advantageous. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Inbound Lead Management:** Receive, analyze, and process leads from website, events, and email; qualify based on defined criteria; log details accurately in CRM. - **Mapping & Prospecting:** Identify target accounts and decision‑makers; build, enrich, and maintain prospect lists using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, databases, and other tools; execute outbound campaigns (cold calling, email, LinkedIn). - **Opportunity Creation:** Convert qualified leads into scheduled meetings for AEs; collaborate on tailored pitches; track progression through sales cycle; follow up as needed. - **Database Enrichment:** Keep CRM data clean and up‑to‑date; add strategic insights (org structure, decision‑makers, news). - **Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:** Work with Sales, Growth, and Marketing teams to refine lead quality and nurturing processes; share insights and trends to optimize acquisition strategies. - **Activity Monitoring & Reporting:** Track KPIs (calls, contact rate, conversion rate, appointments booked); produce regular performance reports; contribute to team meetings with actionable feedback. **Required Skills:** - Lead qualification, prospecting, and pipeline development. - Email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach. - CRM usage (Salesforce preferred; experience with other CRMs acceptable). - Strong written and verbal communication; active listening. - Organizational discipline, rigor, and multitasking capability. - Adaptive to feedback and continuous learning mindset. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. - Optional certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent.
