Job Description

**Job Title:** Off‑Cycle Investment Banking Intern – M&A (July–Dec 2026) **Role Summary:** Supporting all stages of M&A transactions, from origination to closing, while contributing to business‑development activities such as sector mapping and target identification. Interns prepare financial models, valuation analyses, pitch materials, and participate in deal execution and due‑diligence coordination. **Expactations:** - Proactive ownership of tasks without awaiting clear directives. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Resilience and resourcefulness in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments. - Entrepreneurial mindset that seeks impact and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct industry and company research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis. - Build financial models (DCF, multiples, precedent trans.) and scenario analyses. - Draft pitch decks, teasers, and information memoranda for prospective clients. - Coordinate due‑diligence activities, manage process flow, review data‑room content. - Assist in sector mapping, target identification, and development of commercial materials. - Support senior management with ad‑hoc analytical projects and internal initiatives. **Required Skills:** - Advanced financial analysis, modeling, and presentation proficiency. - Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. - Strong analytical, quantitative, and written communication abilities. - Fluency in French and English. - Rigorous, curious, and self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial drive. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment in a top business or engineering university with a finance or engineering specialization (Corporate Finance, Financial Engineering). - Preferably completed a first internship in investment banking, private equity, audit, or corporate finance. - No mandatory specific certifications required.
