**Job Title:** Cyber Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Provides technical leadership to design, implement, and improve enterprise security controls, ensuring systems are secure, compliant, and resilient against advanced threats. **Expectations:** - Active DOD TS/SCI Clearance. - 7+ years in information security or related technical roles. - Expertise in threat intelligence, incident response, and security frameworks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct forensic investigations, malware reverse engineering, and develop custom defense tools for incident resolution. - Analyze logs and threat intelligence to identify vulnerabilities and refine detection rules for emerging threats. - Evaluate and improve security programs, influencing policies, technologies, and compliance. - Provide guidance on secure infrastructure, application, cloud configurations, and DevSecOps integration. - Lead incident response (investigation, containment, remediation), risk assessments, and threat modeling. - Maintain security documentation, audit readiness, and train SOC teams on cybersecurity best practices. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in SIEM platforms, malware analysis, reverse engineering, and vulnerability management. - Strong understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and incident response methodologies. - Experience with network, system, application, and cloud security. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Clear communication for technical and non-technical audiences. - Proficiency in regulated environments and DevSecOps practices. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, or GIAC.
