Job Description
**Job Title:** Linux Systems Administrator (F/M) **Role Summary:** Responsible for designing, evolving, and managing the technical architecture and infrastructure (servers, databases, networks, storage, virtualization, security) in a hybrid public‑private cloud environment. Ensure performance, resilience, scalability, security compliance, and automation while supporting operational teams and on‑call rotation. **Expactations:** - Deliver reliable, secure, and scalable Linux‑based infrastructure. - Continuously improve performance, automation, and monitoring. - Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and knowledge base. - Participate in on‑call duty and incident response. - Promote best practices in security, quality, and DevOps. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and evolve architecture (systems, DBs, network, storage, virtualization, security). - Evaluate, select, and integrate new solutions into the service catalog. - Deploy and maintain infrastructure components (Linux servers, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Nginx, Apache, PFsense, Kubernetes). - Monitor platform health, security devices (firewall, antivirus, bastion), and handle incidents. - Apply patches, updates, and upgrades; ensure Kubernetes cluster security. - Manage access control, system hardening, backup/recovery (PRA/PCA), and security audits. - Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, Terraform scripts, and metrics dashboards for automation. - Support internal teams, translate requirements into technical solutions. - Contribute to on‑call rotation and incident escalation processes. **Required Skills:** - Strong Linux systems administration (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu) - Experience with hybrid cloud (AWS, OVHcloud or similar) and virtualization technologies - Proficient in networking, firewalls (PFsense), and security hardening - Database administration (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and messaging/ caching (RabbitMQ, Redis) - Container orchestration with Kubernetes; familiarity with Helm, operators - Automation/Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD - Monitoring and logging tools, metric collection, and dashboard creation - Good organizational, communication, and teamwork abilities - Ability to document procedures and maintain knowledge bases **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC), AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
