Job Description
Job title: Analyst, Research Science Role Summary: Manage end‑to‑end quantitative consumer research projects that inform marketing and advertising strategies. Design research briefs, select vendors, deploy surveys, analyze data, craft insights, and present findings to internal and agency partners. Expectations: Deliver actionable insights on schedule and within budget; maintain vendor and partner relationships; communicate results clearly to stakeholders; support trend monitoring and ad‑hoc requests; occasionally travel for field research. Key Responsibilities: • Lead quantitative studies (copy testing, concept testing, brand positioning). • Write research briefs, screeners, questionnaires, and survey instruments. • Coordinate vendor logistics and project timelines. • Analyze survey data, develop insights, and produce dashboards or narrative reports. • Present findings to marketing leaders, agency partners, and senior management. • Conduct qualitative support activities (trend monitoring, competitive intelligence). • Compile a monthly industry newsletter for the Marketing team. • Respond to ad‑hoc research questions and support other research initiatives. Required Skills: • ≥1 year primary consumer research and data analysis experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning). • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to tell compelling data stories. • Attention to detail, organizational, and project‑management skills. • Familiarity with survey platforms (Qualtrics or similar). • Basic knowledge of data management/analyis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, R, Databricks).† • (Preferred) Experience with Tableau, Power BI, SPSS, SAS, or similar visualization/analytics tools. † Foundation level skills required; advanced proficiency optional. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Psychology, Market Research, or related field. Spanish fluency considered a plus; certifications in analytics or research software not mandatory.
