Job Description
**Job Title:** Manager Infrastructure & Security **Role Summary:** Lead the design, implementation, and management of on‑premise and cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, high availability, and robust security. Direct a technical team to enforce security policies, conduct risk assessments, and maintain compliance with industry standards. **Expectations:** - Achieve 99.9 % uptime for critical systems. - Maintain or improve security posture, reflected in regular audit findings. - Deliver reliable disaster recovery plans with RTO/RPO goals met. - Ensure continuous alignment of IT infrastructure with business objectives. - Demonstrate measurable cost‑efficiency through technology selection and automation. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee AWS, Azure, VMware, and virtualization environments. - Manage on‑premise server infrastructure, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and web servers (Apache/Nginx). - Administer firewalls, VPNs (SecurePoint, WatchGuard), IDS/IPS, and encryption solutions. - Lead threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response. - Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reviews (PCI, HIPAA, SOC 2/3). - Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans; manage backup strategies (Veeam, Avamar). - Implement monitoring and alerting for infrastructure health and security. - Report status, risks, and improvement recommendations to executive leadership. - Manage vendor relationships, evaluate, and procure infrastructure and security tools. - Mentor and grow a multidisciplinary IT/security team; foster cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Skills:** - Proficient with AWS, Azure, VMware, and other virtualization platforms. - Expertise in server, network, and web application administration. - Strong grasp of firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies. - Experienced in PCI, HIPAA, SOC 2/3 compliance frameworks. - Demonstrated ability to conduct threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response. - Solid project management and communication skills. - Proven track record in leading and mentoring technical teams. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Relevant certifications preferred: - AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Developer / SysOps Administrator - Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Administrator Associate - VMware Certified Professional (VCP) / VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) - CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification.
