Job Description

**Job title** Senior Front-End Engineer **Role Summary** Lead full‑stack client development for a health‑tech AI marketplace. Own end‑to‑end design, architecture, and deployment of patient and provider web interfaces, ensuring performance, security (PHI handling), and UX excellence across high‑volume, relational data contexts. **Expectations** - Deliver production‑ready React/Next.js applications that scale to hundreds of thousands of concurrent users. - Lead architectural decisions on state management, data fetching, and rendering strategies. - Integrate AI models into front‑end workflows and maintain observability to pre‑empt regressions. **Key Responsibilities** 1. **Interface Development** – Build dynamic, multi‑step intake engines, provider dashboards, and patient portals with responsive, secure UI. 2. **Client‑Side Architecture** – Design scalable state layers, handle async API calls efficiently, and optimize for instantaneous UX. 3. **Cross‑Platform Collaboration** – Work with React Native/Expo mobile teams to create shared state patterns and reusable business logic. 4. **UX Leadership** – Own component design, measure impact on patient outcomes, and make pragmatic UI decisions. 5. **Reliability & Observability** – Manage deployment pipelines, define performance budgets, and oversee error tracking (Sentry, Datadog). 6. **AI Integration** – Incorporate agentic AI features to automate clinical operations and enhance provider workflows. **Required Skills** - 5–7+ years of senior front‑end engineering, primarily with React/Next.js. - Deep expertise in React lifecycle, hooks, and state architecture (Redux, Recoil, context). - Proficiency in client‑side data fetching (React Query, SWR) and performance optimization. - Experience with secure handling of PHI, GDPR, and HIPAA‑related constraints. - Familiarity with observability tools (Sentry, Datadog, Grafana). - Ability to design and implement reusable component libraries. - Strong product sense and user‑centric design mindset. - Comfortable working in rapid, agile environments with tight integration to backend teams. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - No mandatory certifications, but knowledge of health‑tech compliance (HIPAA) is a plus.
