Job Description

Job Title: Stage – Control de Gestion / DAF Externe Role Summary: Finance internship focused on strategic financial management for tech‑startup clients. Under the guidance of an external CFO, the intern will design and maintain financial dashboards, produce monthly reporting, execute forecasting, perform reconciliations, and optimize accounting and operational processes. Expectations: - Minimum 6‑month internship with potential for full‑time hire. - Rapid immersion: intensive training followed by direct client work. - Deliver high‑quality reports, forecasts, and management insights. - Demonstrate analytical rigor, autonomy, and client orientation. Key Responsibilities: 1. **Financial Dashboards & Reporting** - Build and update KPI dashboards, reporting tools, and business plans. - Compile monthly financial statements and client reports. - Draft management notes for founders and executives. 2. **Forecasting & Analysis** - Prepare monthly forecasts and conduct review meetings with clients. - Perform data crunching and reconcile operational platforms with financial statements. - Validate accounting cut‑offs (revenue recognition, accruals, provisions). 3. **Client Support & Process Improvement** - Provide operational accounting and control support. - Design or refine financial processes: invoicing, ERP integration, inventory management. - Act as a client liaison during financial cycle discussions. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data modeling). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Self‑motivated, organized, client‑focused, and culturally aware of tech SaaS models. - Fluent written and verbal French; proficient business English (read/write/communicate with US clients). - Prior experience in management accounting or corporate finance. - Ability to produce clear, concise reports and conduct data validations. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s level, top 10 business school or equivalent (currently in final year or intermediate/leave of absence). - Relevant coursework: finance, accounting, management control, business analytics. - Certifications such as CMA, ACCA, or CPA are advantageous but not mandatory.
