Job Title: Sales Engineer
Role Summary: Customer‑facing technical sales professional in a fast‑growth B2B SaaS environment. Responsible for translating product capabilities into business value, leading demos, and supporting the entire sales cycle for Marketing, RevOps, and Sales stakeholders.
Expactations: Deliver technical credibility throughout the sales process, drive deal progression, and contribute to revenue growth through clear articulation of technical differentiation. Maintain high standards of technical validation, post‑sale handover, and continuous improvement of enablement content.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to conduct technical discovery, customize demos, and design solutions aligned with prospect use cases.
- Lead live product demonstrations tailored to data maturity and go‑to‑market motions.
- Serve as the technical authority on data models, integrations, APIs, and attribution methodology.
- Facilitate trials, security reviews, and technical validations as required.
- Relay customer feedback, objections, and integration needs to Product and Engineering teams.
- Position the solution within the prospect’s RevTech stack (CRM, marketing automation, data warehouse, etc.).
- Communicate technical differentiators to support competitive positioning.
- Contribute to demo best practices, technical enablement assets, and internal knowledge sharing.
- Support post‑sale handover to implementation teams to ensure seamless technical transition.
Required Skills
- 3–5+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Technical Pre‑Sales within B2B SaaS.
- Proven experience with Marketing, RevOps, or Sales stakeholders in multi‑layered buying groups.
- Deep understanding of data integration, APIs, and modern GTM technology stacks.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Commercial mindset: leverage technical clarity to advance deals.
- Experience in mid‑market and/or enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong presentation, storytelling, and live demo skills.
- Capacity to thrive in a rapid scale‑up environment with evolving processes.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, data warehousing, or revenue AI is a plus.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred but not mandatory.
