Job Description
**Job Title:** Senior IT Director **Role Summary:** Lead the technology strategy and operations for a multi‑site aerospace organization, aligning IT initiatives with business goals, managing budget and vendors, and ensuring security, compliance, and service excellence across four locations. **Expectations:** - Deliver IT roadmap and projects on time and within budget. - Drive innovation through emerging technologies and process optimization. - Build and mentor a high‑performing, service‑focused IT team. - Ensure cybersecurity, risk management, and regulatory compliance. - Provide transparent reporting and KPI-driven performance to executive leadership. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and execute the enterprise IT strategy, budget, and roadmap. - Communicate technology vision and align it with business growth objectives. - Lead IT governance, risk, and compliance (including business continuity, disaster recovery, data backup, GCC High, CMMC, DFARS, ITAR). - Oversee cybersecurity programs, threat detection, incident response, and mitigation. - Manage relationships with outsourced vendors and IT outsourcing partners. - Optimize operations and cost efficiencies across ERP, data management, and Microsoft 365 environments. - Drive data analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, and integration initiatives. - Define and monitor KPIs, provide regular executive updates, and foster continuous improvement. - Supervise IT teams across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with the roadmap and daily operations. **Required Skills:** - Strategic IT planning and budget management. - Strong leadership and team‑building capabilities. - Expertise in Microsoft 365 licensing and administration. - Experience with enterprise‑level ERP, cloud platforms, and data analytics environments. - Proficiency in enterprise architecture, system integration, and application development methodologies. - Deep knowledge of networking, end‑user computing, and help‑desk processes. - Comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, threat assessment, incident response, and risk mitigation. - Ability to manage vendor relationships and outsourcing contracts. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and KPI reporting. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MS or MBA preferred). - Minimum 10 years of IT leadership experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
