Job Description
**Job Title:** Software Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based platforms and services that support the fibre network, partner integrations, and customer-facing applications. Own end‑to‑end delivery from requirement analysis to deployment and production support, collaborating closely with the Technical Director and cross‑functional teams. **Expectations:** - Deliver high‑quality, scalable code in a fast‑paced environment. - Take full ownership of assigned features, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. - Communicate architecture decisions and progress clearly to stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gather and analyse functional requirements, translate them into technical designs and specifications. - Develop, test, and deploy services using .NET, C#, and RESTful APIs. - Implement database solutions and queries using SQL Server; maintain data integrity and performance. - Build and maintain Azure‑based infrastructure and services (e.g., App Service, Function Apps, Logic Apps). - Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and security guidelines. - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing. - Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, providing timely support. - Contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and infrastructure as code. - Collaborate with front‑end developers on API contracts and data contracts. - Stay current with emerging technologies relevant to ISP/telecom contexts. **Required Skills:** - Strong experience with .NET (Core / Framework) and C#. - Hands‑on knowledge of building and exposing RESTful APIs. - Proficiency in SQL Server design, query optimisation, and database administration. - Working experience with Python and familiarity with its ecosystem. - Exposure to JavaScript, MVC, or web frameworks (e.g., ASP.NET MVC, Angular, React). - Experience developing or deploying to Microsoft Azure services. - Basic understanding of CI/CD, Docker, and cloud‑native patterns. - Ability to work independently and as part of a small, high‑impact team. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer) are advantageous but not mandatory.
