**Job Title:**
Salesforce Business Analyst
**Role Summary:**
Act as the primary bridge between product owners, stakeholders, developers, and administrators to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. Drive the end‑to‑end lifecycle of feature development, defect resolution, and production support while ensuring alignment with agile processes and organizational change management.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver timely, high‑quality user stories and technical specifications for new features and enhancements.
- Maintain an organized Jira backlog and lead sprint‑planning and grooming sessions.
- Ensure Salesforce configuration changes meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
- Provide comprehensive production support (Levels 1–3) and manage deployment activities.
- Collaborate across cross‑functional teams for testing, training, and release readiness.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Gather and refine business requirements with stakeholders, creating detailed user stories for development.
2. Manage the Jira backlog, prioritizing work, and facilitating sprint‑planning and grooming meetings.
3. Design and implement Salesforce configurations, custom objects, process builders, flows, and Apex logic to meet feature and defect fixes.
4. Administer all Salesforce orgs: user provisioning, permission sets, security model, and data access controls.
5. Deliver Level 1–3 production support: triage, reproduce, diagnose root causes, recommend mitigations, and document solutions.
6. Lead deployment planning and execution: coordinate changes with development, QA, and IT, ensuring proper testing (smoke, regression) and change control.
7. Execute bulk data operations (imports/exports, mass updates) and maintain data quality.
8. Provide stakeholder communication and status reporting through change control meetings and documentation.
9. Maintain documentation of architecture, processes, and configuration for audit and onboarding purposes.
10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for processes, tooling, and security.
**Required Skills:**
- 3+ years of Salesforce development experience (configuration, Apex, Flow, Lightning).
- Proficiency in Jira/Confluence, Agile methodologies, and sprint facilitation.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration (Data Management, Security, Sharing Rules, Profile/Permission sets).
- Experience with integration concepts, APIs, and data loading tools.
- Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications and user stories.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Analytical mindset with problem‑solving ability.
- Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Understanding of networking basics and security principles is a plus.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years Salesforce development experience.
- Preferred certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Field Service Lightning Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant.
- Additional certifications or training in agile, test‑driven development, or multi‑system architecture are advantageous.
