**Job title:** Director/Associate Director – Solutions Specialist
**Role Summary:**
Lead pre‑sales and technical consulting for Moody Business Growth solutions. Drive the full sales cycle for AI‑powered data and analytics offerings, mapping client needs to Moody’s catalog, delivering demos, POCs, and trial evaluations, and translating market feedback to product teams.
**Expectations:**
- Up to 30 % travel, client‑facing, high‑level stakeholder engagement.
- Commercial mindset with proven success in new‑customer acquisition and advisory roles.
- Ability to operate autonomously in a complex, multi‑cycle sales environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Own functional and technical aspects of the sales cycle for data and AI solutions.
2. Conduct deep analyses of client sales‑marketing processes, identifying pain points and optimization opportunities.
3. Present compelling demos, POCs, and trial evaluations to illustrate value propositions.
4. Design custom solution mappings, integrating Moody’s data and software portfolio with client requirements.
5. Collaborate with sales teams, relationship managers, and Salesforce partners to qualify opportunities, align solutions, and close deals.
6. Serve as the conduit between clients and product development, feeding market insights and technical requirements.
**Required Skills:**
- Previous experience in a client‑facing, pre‑sales, or consulting role within information services, data analytics, or enterprise software.
- Expertise in MDM, Sales & Marketing, CRM data enrichment, lead generation, account planning, and go‑to‑market strategy.
- Strong analytical ability to examine and improve sales and marketing workflows.
- Proven track record in technical sales of complex data, software, or SaaS solutions, with exposure to complex cycles and Salesforce AppExchange (preferred).
- Working knowledge of AI concepts, especially Generative AI, and practical use of AI tools to streamline processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Basic familiarity with SQL, Python, or APIs for data integration (encouraged but not mandatory).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- No specific certifications required, but sales or technical certifications (e.g., Salesforce, AWS, Azure, or AI/ML credentials) are a plus.
