Job Description
Job Title: Property Litigation Associate Role Summary: Provide strategic legal advice and represent clients in residential property disputes, including leasehold management, rent reviews, dilapidations, lease renewals, and service charge issues. Support the national Property Litigation team by participating in case preparation, litigation, and client communications. Expectations: * Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience as a qualified solicitor. * Demonstrated knowledge of residential property law and a willingness to engage wider commercial disputes when required. * Strong academic performance and proactive, organised work style. * Team player with client‑focussed approach and interest in business development. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct legal research and analysis on leasehold and residential property matters. * Draft pleadings, correspondence, and court submissions. * Assist with case strategy, evidence gathering, and settlement negotiations. * Liaise with clients, property owners, funders, and other stakeholders. * Coordinate with senior associates and partners on case progress and resource allocation. * Ensure compliance with firm policies on information security and client confidentiality. * Contribute to business‑development initiatives and professional networking. Required Skills: * In‑depth understanding of leasehold, tenant, and residential property law. * Litigation preparation and courtroom support. * Strong written and oral communication. * Excellent organisational and project‑management abilities. * Team collaboration, adaptability, and initiative. * Basic knowledge of commercial property disputes (desirable). Required Education & Certifications: * Qualified lawyer in the UK. * Post‑qualification experience of at least 3 years in property litigation or related practice. * High academic achievement (degree and professional examinations). ---
