Job Description: Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Full‑Stack) Role Summary: Design, develop, and deploy scalable full‑stack features for a fintech platform that enriches Open Banking data. Lead technical direction, ensure high performance and security, and collaborate with leadership and data teams to shape product roadmap. Expactations: - Deliver high‑quality code with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment. - Own end‑to‑end feature development and maintain technical standards. - Balance speed, quality, and scalability in technical decisions. - Follow secure development practices and ISO 27001 compliance. - Communicate effectively and manage time across multiple priorities. Key Responsibilities: - Architect, build, and launch core product features using React/Next.js, NestJS, and TypeScript. - Implement and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and related services. - Optimize PostgreSQL databases and ensure data integrity. - Integrate Firebase Auth and manage user authentication flows. - Participate in roadmap planning with founders, senior leadership, and data teams. - Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior engineers. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical debt. Required Skills: - 5+ years of full‑stack software engineering experience. - Proficiency with AWS cloud services. - Strong frontend expertise in React, Next.js, and Material UI. - Backend development using NestJS and TypeScript. - PostgreSQL database design, management, and optimization. - Experience with Firebase Authentication. - Knowledge of secure coding practices and ISO 27001 requirements. - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly. - Desirable: experience with Drizzle ORM, Flutter, and fintech/regulatory environments (FCA/PRA). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
